10 Things WWE Did Wrong In 2014

1. Letting CM Punk Go

Cm Punk Reading Comics The biggest story of the year was the fact that CM Punk walked away from the WWE due to a multitude of reasons. The last time we would see CM Punk in a WWE ring would be the 2014 Royal Rumble where Corporate Kane would cause the elimination of Punk in the rumble match. Even though his last appearance was way back in January, the story has not died down, but actually has picked back up after Punk's appearance on Colt Cabana's Art Of Wrestling Podcast to break his silence just a few weeks ago. A lot was divulged in this podcast that has really made people question how the WWE conducts business, and which side should they believe, Punk's side or Vince McMahon's side. Punk has claimed that he had a misdiagnosed staph infection that could have been fatal, he had questions that would go unanswered with compensation with the WWE Network, he was unhappy with creative and felt he should have a Wrestlemania main event, and he was fired on his wedding day. For someone that is as vital to the WWE as CM Punk was, you would have thought the WWE would have tried everything they could to make him happy. Ever since he dropped the famous Pipebomb promo, Punk was THE wrestler and THE top draw for the company. Nobody (in terms of wrestlers) could touch him on the microphone, and very few could touch him in the ring as well. Letting Punk go is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, things that the WWE did wrong in 2014. As always, thank you for reading my articles!
