10 Things WWE Did Wrong In 2014

2. Breaking The Undertaker's Streak With Brock Lesnar

One of the most sacred pieces of WWE history is the Wrestlemania winning streak of the Undertaker. This streak started in 1991 at Wrestlemania 7 with a defeat of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. Taker would defeat CM Punk at Wrestlemania 29 to improve his record to 21-0. Then came Wrestlemania 30 this year as The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar faced off in a Wrestlemania match that was a few years in the making. Lensar and the Undertaker fought in a colossal 25 minute match of back and forth action. It wasn't as epic as some of the Undertaker's past few matches with CM Punk, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, but it was a decent one. Brock Lesnar hit a third F5 onto the Undertaker, and we were all expecting Taker to kick out at 2.9 seconds; however, the referee's hand hit the mat for a third time, and it shocked the world. The Undertaker's Wrestlemania winning streak was one of those sacred pieces of history, and in many opinion's should have never been broken. If it were to be broken, it should have been to a young superstar to further elevate them into the top rung of the company. Instead, breaking the streak was given to part-timer Brock Lesnar. It is something that Lesnar didn't need to cement his career in the WWE, and the decision to have him end the streak was one thing that the WWE did wrong in 2014.
