10 Things WWE Fans Expected To Have Seen By Now

7. Big Show's Retirement

Very rarely will pro wrestling audiences encourage a performer to actively retire from the ring, but that has been the case with The Big Show.

Obviously, there is some humour in the situation, something Show himself realises and has referenced before. People feel they are getting underneath his skin, but the chants weren't solely born out of laughter.

The Big Show has been part of WWE since 1999, and has flipped between heel and babyface more than almost more than anybody else. Before he signed with the company, he had worked in WCW since 1995.

This means that the guy has been around wrestling for over 20 years, which is impressive, yet also makes it easy to understand why some are tired of him.

It's even more startling when taking into account his staggering size. Travelling around the world cannot be easy for someone of Show's stature, but he continues to perform full-time with the promotion.

Who could have guessed that a man who debuted with the odd, one-note character of being Andre The Giant's son would experience such longevity?
