10 Things WWE Fans Expected To See In 2017 (But Didn't)

8. The Revival Winning Raw's Tag Titles

NXT enthusiasts will recall how over Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson were as heels on the brand before they were called up to the main roster. Wired-shut jaws and ruptured biceps have interrupted The Revival's run on Raw terribly. Now, they're in limbo without a rivalry, storyline or even a purpose on Monday nights, and it's a crying shame.

Fans couldn't have predicted Dash and Dawson would suffer such poor luck and be cruelly benched by their injuries. In NXT, they were a work horse tag-team and a sweet throwback to the glory days of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. That should have translated to main roster success and a run with the Raw Tag Titles by now.

Hopefully, WWE's scriptwriters haven't moved on from The Revival and cancelled any plans to make them champions. They're a real team and wholly deserving of the opportunity. They're certainly better than lame odd couple tandems like Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan.
