10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Adrian Neville

7. Inauspicious Debuts

It didn't always go smoothly for PAC in his pre-WWE career, however. Although he was an instant hit in PWG, he didn't fare quite so well when he debuted for noted American independent promotion Ring of Honor. PAC wrestled on Ring of Honor's UK shows in March 2007 in Liverpool losing to Roderick Strong on night one and Matt Sydal on night two. Although the matches didn't steal the show, they were decent and PAC gave a good account of himself. So good in fact that he was invited back to wrestle for the promotion again, this time in America. Then-RoH booker Gabe Sapolsky was a huge fan of PAC's and intended to make him his next cruiserweight sensation. PAC debuted for Ring of Honor proper on the Manhattan Mayhem 2 event on August 25th 2007 against Davey Richards. PAC, who looked nervous, was off his game and he and Richards was a bit of a styles clash. The upshot was that the match was a letdown. PAC didn't wrestle for Ring of Honor again, instead focusing his effort on PWG, Dragon Gate and Dragon Gate: USA.
