Much like fellow Ontario native (and TNA alumni) [and likely NXT colleague) Bobby Roode, Eric Young did the rounds on World Wrestling Entertainment television in the early 2000s, appearing on WWE programming on three separate occasions.

One of these came with Roode in a tag match against the duo of Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stamboli, then billed as the Full Blooded Italians. Young then returned to Velocity shortly after, but this time he came alone.

Sean O'Haire stood in his way, and at the climax of the match Sean O'Haire stood over him with his arm raised in victory.

Young's final appearance on WWE TV (at that time) came on WWE Heat (basically RAW's version of Velocity), in a losing effort against Val Venis.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
