The term itself is pretty flexible, but Eric Young is considered one of the TNA Originals. It vaguely means those individuals who were there from the early days, those who made their name in the company back when it was running weekly PPVs and resided in Nashville.

Young's first appearance in TNA came in September 2003, where he was on the losing team in a 6-person tag matches. His partners were Frankie Kazarian and Juventud Guerrera, but this team of titans were vanquished by Chris Sabin, Michael Shane and Kazunari Nosawa.

The number of TNA Originals still with the company grows smaller every passing month, as more and more of their number head to NXT and pastures new.

I may be wrong, but it seems that only Abyss and James Storm remain, an even the latter tried his hand in the choppy waters of Full Sail University last year.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
