One of the newest wrestlers on the scene in WWE is Kevin Owens, who made his NXT debut back at Takeover: R-Evolution in December, and on his first night in the company, he attacked new NXT Champion Sami Zayn, immediately thrusting himself into the main event scene. Next Wednesday, Owens faces Zayn in a No Disqualification match for the NXT Championship live on the WWE Network at the next NXT Takeover event. Owens came into the company with a buzz around him, and anybody who has paid attention to the American independent wrestling scene knows that the buzz is well-deserved. Owens used to be known as Mr. Wrestling Kevin Steen, primarily through the Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerilla promotions. He is a former champion and has been part of the main event scene of both promotions.
