10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About LA Knight

In 2008, Knight had his first WWE try-out. He recalled working a dark match prior to a taping of Raw in “Philadelphia or something, or Washington, D.C”. He stated the powers-that-be “loved” the match and he was invited back to showcase his skills again the following week.
He had the support of Jamie Noble, who made sure Knight “worked out ahead of everybody, so that the agents saw [him]”. Noble was said to be confident that Knight was well on track to being offered a contract. How he screwed himself out of this opportunity is better explained in his own words:
“The next day, on Tuesday, without too many details, I show up an hour late like an idiot and that was pretty much the end of the road for me.”
The situation resulted from Knight's need to have his separated shoulder attended to by a physiotherapist and the competing necessity to get his pump on at the gym next door.
He revealed that the company wouldn’t touch him for a period of over two years, making their annoyance known by declining his phone calls.
