2. She First Interacted With Beth Phoenix On MySpace

Natalya's had a lot of good friends during her WWE career, but the woman she was always closest with was Beth Phoenix. Due to their similar backgrounds in the business, their body types, their interest in strength training and the fact that they look like sister, there was always a bond there. What's interesting about them is they actually met at first because of MySpace. She told a story about how they first met in an interview with Slam Wrestling: "Before I ever got signed by WWE, she sent me a message -- speaking of social media, on MySpace -- saying, 'Hi, my name is Beth. I'm a huge fan of your family.' It was before she'd even gotten signed by WWE, before she went down to OVW, any of that. She showed me her journal diary entries when she was a little girl about Bret and Owen; she just was obsessed by them." Natalya has also noted in the past that she was using the Glam Slam finisher that Beth was known for on the indies before she even met Beth. It was a move that she called the "Nattie by Nature" as name that was playing off the "Naughty by Nature" rap group. The two divas should have had a long feud because they would have produced some of the best matches in WWE history. Instead, they only had one match on Smackdown in September 2012 right before Beth retired. What a shame. We got multiple Cameron vs. Naomi matches when they split up including a PPV match, yet there was no Natalya vs. Beth feud. That was a wasted opportunity by WWE. No doubt about it.
