Yes, aged four.

Of note, Renee's childhood martial arts training included spells studying Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu (specifically, the Choy Li Fut style), Capoeira and Muay Thai. That laundry list of training styles gave her the chance to compete overseas in Korea aged just 14, but her family thought she was too young and cancelled the trip.

From there, Michelle began exploring weapons-based training using a spear, sai and staff. In other words, she won't shy away if she's asked to mix it in the 24/7 division on WWE TV. Seriously though, there's probably no-one else on the roster who can claim they've had significant experience handling weapons like that.

As far back as she can remember, Renee competed as a martial artist against schools in other states and she had amassed an impressive range of competitions and training before she was even a teenager. She was likely already well-versed as a fighter before she was 10.
