As someone who has attended a pro wrestling training school, learned to bump and picked up a few fundamentals, this writer can attest it's not easy. Some pick it up quickly, whereas other might take years before they can safely work a match. For Renee Michelle, training only took three months.

After that, she was raring to go.

Her first professional match in front of a live crowd took place on a Big Time Wrestling event on 29 March 2013. There, she teamed with The Patriot and John Rambo (now there's a gimmick) against Jessie Kaye, Adam Ugly and Pretty Ugly in a six-person tag match. It's worth noting that Kaye is current NXT referee Jessika Carr.

Eventually, Renee branched out to become Maryland Championship Wrestling's Women's Champion in 2014, and held the belt on three separate occasions; her last title reign was ended by ex-WWE star Melina, and she also got to work with the likes of Mickie James during that period.
