In 2014, TNA put on a Joker's Wild 2 pay-per-view taping in Spud's native Birmingham. He was on the card, unforgettably teaming with Bully Ray (Bubba Dudley) to beat Mr. Anderson and Austin Aries. Spud admitted during that Huffington Post interview that he used to daydream about such occasions.

Years earlier, the future Rockstar had worked in an office across the street from the Birmingham NIA. Looking out the window, he found himself fantasising about wrestling in the big building in front of an enraptured hometown audience. Soon, that would become a reality in TNA.

Spud probably had the same daydreams about working for WWE or at WrestleMania. Now he's joined on as part of the Cruiserweight division, that dream is closer than ever before to becoming a reality. So, next time you daydream, remember that it can become a reality.
