Scan any Rockstar Spud interviews you can find online and none will show the man bashing his former employer. In fact, he speaks highly of his time in TNA/Impact Wrestling and is totally unwilling to throw Dixie Carter and company under the nearest bus. Spud believes TNA helped get more eyes on UK wrestling too.

In an interview with The Buzzards Wrestling Podcast, Spud used the second season of British Boot Camp as evidence that TNA had shone the spotlight on the UK scene. He's got a point. Names like Noam Dar, Viper (Piper Niven), Nikki Cross, and Mark Andrews have all gone on to work for WWE, and others like Rampage, El Ligero and Dave Mastiff worked for the revamped World of Sport show on ITV.

To Spud, that shows the Boot Camp idea was a success. Whilst he does recognise that the program isn't solely responsible for those men and women achieving their dreams, Spud thinks people need to give TNA more credit for scouting UK talent.
