9. He Was Lance Storm's First Graduate Signed By WWE
https://instagram.com/p/wwnsLOyaQB/ After he was trained to wrestle and got some experience working the independent scene, Breeze did a smart thing by going to get more training from a big name in Canadian wrestling: Lance Storm. Storm opened up his Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary following his in-ring career that saw him make a pretty big name for himself in ECW, WCW and WWE. After his WWE run ended, he helped train some WWE talent in Ohio Valley Wrestling before deciding he wanted to live back home in Calgary. Breeze trained with Storm in 2007 and was signed by WWE three years later. He was the first wrestler Storm trained that was signed by WWE. Since then, several more of his trainees have been signed by WWE, including Emma. During a recent interview with Afterbuzz TV, Breeze had a lot of praise for his former trainer:
I couldn't ask for better training. In three months he prepared me for everything I was going to encounter. I trained with him in 2007, so he was fresh off of WWE. He had connections still and he went out of his way to talk to everybody about money, about working with agents, that etiquette was very important. I still look to him for advice on a lot of different things.
It's no surprise that Breeze would look to Storm for advice since Storm watches the WWE product closely, tweets about it constantly and still trains wrestlers at his school as well.
