7. The Last Man Standing Match
WWE gimmick matches tend to be a little forced and hokey sometimes, but this one didn't have that feel to it at all. The credit for that can probably go to the two performers in the match, as both men are prideful workers who are no strangers to the more violent side of professional wrestling. Add to that the fact that they have excellent chemistry together and you had the recipe for a pretty damn good match. If I had to criticise one thing about the match, it would be the decision to book Ambrose as the winner, not because I don't think he deserves the title, but because of the implications that would bring about later in the night. With Dean walking out as the IC champ, it made it less believable that he was actually going to pull out the win when it came down to he and Triple H as the final two of the Rumble. That small hiccup aside, the match was very good and both guys deserve a lot of credit for having the best match on the card, outside of the battle royal itself. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch at Fastlane, but it looks like the booking may be taking both men in a different direction.
