3. The EMTs Helping Ambrose & Rollins Drug Out Too Long
The opening of the Hell In A Cell match was fantastic between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Ambrose channeled his inner Mick Foley and climbed up to the roof of the cage with a kendo stick that was so special, it had it's own case. He wanted to start the match up there just like Mick did at King of the Ring in 1998. The Stooges 2.0 (Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury) were forced to climb up the cell by Rollins to bring Ambrose back down. As The Stooges 2.0 had the attention of Ambrose on top of the cell, Rollins climbed up and attacked Ambrose from behind. Ambrose would get the advantage; which prompted Rollins to try to escape by climbing back down the cell. Ambrose would give chase, and they were halfway down when Dean caught up to Seth. They would exchange some blows that ultimately led to both Ambrose and Rollins going through the two announce tables in synchronization; which was my favorite moment of the night. It was very well executed. Obviously to sell the fall; which was about 10 feet, Ambrose and Rollins laid there for some time while doctors and EMT's arrived to stretch both gentlemen out of the ringside area. Much like when Taker threw Foley off of the top of the cell, a lot of time was killed by showing replays of the awesome feat; while the EMT's were working, but the whole thing just felt so drug out because we have seen both men take bumps of a similar caliber before. This was a match that many of us have been wanting to see for a long long time, and after some great action, we had a really long lull while the guys were selling the injuries. Things there could have been sped up a little quicker to give them more time to fight.
