10 Things WWE Messed Up At WrestleMania 32
6. Charlotte Becoming The First WWE Women's Champion
When starting what is essentially a new division - following the announcement of the new WWE Women's Championship - you make your top performer the face of the division. It's not rocket science.
Without a doubt, Sasha Banks is the most popular woman on the main roster. Having her win the WrestleMania 32 Triple Threat Match between herself, Becky Lynch and Charlotte would have been predictable, but it would have been the good kind of predictable.
Instead, the title went to Charlotte, continuing her reign atop the now-women's division. There's nothing wrong with Charlotte being champion, but the new division needed to be kicked off with a bang.
The match itself was a phenomenal display highlighting the rapid progression of women's wrestling since the establishment of NXT. However, the finish left plenty to be desired. WWE passed up the opportunity to create a genuine 'WrestleMania moment' by having either of the two babyfaces in Banks and Lynch claim the title.
