7. A Segment On The Dean Ambrose Vs. Kevin Owens Last Man Standing Match

Dean Ambrose defending his Intercontinental Title against Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match is the co-main event for Royal Rumble. But despite its high placement, it is a match also in need of some further development on Raw. The bout was only made this week on Smackdown, which of course isn't watched by as many people as Raw is. In really getting it over as an attraction, WWE must place some real emphasis on the bout during the go-home show. The commentators should talk about how vicious the Last Man Standing stipulation is and highlight packages should run, showing the brutality of bouts in the past. That's how to really get the audience interested in the match. A big part of the sell should also be Ambrose and Owens doing some verbal jousting. Both are excellent on the mic, and they can go a long way to getting Raw viewers invested in watching the Royal Rumble event.
