10 Things WWE MUST Do Before 2024

7. Reward A Fresh New Team

Triple H WWE To Do

Long-term, Triple H's plan for Austin Theory must include a babyface turn that shows off the man's likeable personality. Casual fans who hear WWE sweeten crowd responses for him might giggle at that, but go check out Theory's work at autograph signings for proof of his cracking connection with younger fans.

An emerging generation of fans will see Austin as their hero.

That's the future. The present? Booking Theory and new tag buddy Grayson Waller as a dynamic, must-see heel tandem on SmackDown. Sure, the Undisputed Tag belts are over on Raw (at least for now), but that won't stop Theory and Waller from building up chemistry elsewhere.

Rewards are important to keep newer ideas important in fan minds and keep the talents themselves hungry for more success. Theory has had his wobbles, but aligning him with Grayson was a clever call that should benefit both guys over the next 12-18 months of TV.

Then, they can get working on Austin's babyface turn.
