10 Things WWE Must Do To Ensure WrestleMania 33 Doesn't Suck

3. Replace Triple H With Samoa Joe

Seth Rollins is off WWE television at the moment, but his knee injury isn’t expected to keep him out of WrestleMania. The company are reportedly banking on The Architect wrestling at the event, and if he makes it, a showdown with Triple H is almost certainly on the cards.

Their feud has been simmering away since August, and it’s about time WWE thought about drawing a line under it. Booking them in a one on one contest is a mistake, however, particularly on such a large show. Triple H’s WM 32 bout with Roman Reigns was cripplingly dull. Who really wants to see him compete again after such a dismal showing?

Samoa Joe debuted under Triple H’s command, and he’d make for a perfect surrogate in the match. He’ll take the kayfabe credit for Rollins’ injury anyway, so the motivation is already there. If Joe is to stay on as one of Triple H’s enforcers, facing Seth at Mania makes perfect sense - and it’d almost certainly result in a better match.

Joe is white hot at the moment, and he deserves a big spot in Orlando. Booking him vs. Rollins is an easy sell, and after missing last year’s event, Seth is going to want to produce a classic on April 2nd. Unfortunately for Hunter, Joe gives Rollins a far greater chance of doing that.
