10 Things WWE Need To Get Right On The Road To WrestleMania

9. Don't Forget About Tag Teams

For some reason, WWE can never never really seem to keep the momentum of the tag team division going for a steady length of time. There are weird peaks and troughs where every few months, they€™ll really get behind the division and build up some strong teams only to break them all up and struggle to put on any fresh matches. Over the last ten years of WrestleManias, there have only been three Tag Team Championship matches, with another three relegated to the pre-show. How are fans supposed to get invested in tag team wrestling, or see the titles as something worth winning if WWE doesn€™t even think they€™re worthy of being on their biggest show? Right now, it seems like the tag division has the potential to be on another upswing, but it isn€™t quite there yet. The new champions, Cesaro & Tyson Kidd, can bring credibility to the titles, but now WWE needs to work on making the likes of The New Day, The Ascension and The Prime Time Players into credible challengers, which no team other than The Usos currently are. The potential is there in the WWE tag division at the moment, but it€™s up for WWE to take advantage of that and to make something great with it. While it wouldn€™t be surprising for the tag match to end up on the pre-show again, if given the chance the tag-teams could go on to steal the show at this year€™s WrestleMania.
