10 Things WWE Needs To Bring Back
1. Talking Smack
If there's anything we want that $1 billion deal to go towards, it'd be this by a landslide.
Talking Smack was the after-show for SmackDown Live! hosted by Renee Young and Daniel Bryan. First off, that should already be enough to sell you on the show, as their chemistry and light-hearted nature kept everything incredibly enjoyable. Young & Bryan would go over highlights and noteworthy moments from the night whilst providing their own brand of commentary.
This was all great, but the real genius of Talking Smack was the wrestlers' interaction. SmackDown Live!'s hottest talents would be given the opportunity to join the set and essentially be interviewed by Renee and Daniel. Aside from just being a great place for wrestlers with less promo time to develop their characters and enhance their mic skills, multiple running segments went on to become some of the most entertaining content WWE was producing all year.
Between D-Bry rapping with the Usos, Kevin Owens verbally feuding with Renee, and conspiracy theories with AJ Styles, the show was packed to the brim with memorable moments. And of course, we have to mention the infamous Miz pipebomb that essentially relaunched his career back into the limelight.
If Talking Smack was designed to be a platform for wrestlers to boost momentum off of, it succeeded with flying colors.
