As a measure of just how much improvement needs to be made to 205 Live, we can't even be totally sure that it will still be on the air-waves in 12 months' time.

If it is to survive, then WWE need to convince fans - both those watching at home and the ones in the arena, many of whom use the cruiserweight matches as an invitation to take a bathroom break - that it really is worth caring about.

A good place to start would be in the amount of pay-per-view time Enzo Amore and co are afforded. Neville and Austin Aries put one of the best matches of WrestleMania 33 back in April, but its significance was lost on many thanks to its placement on the pre-show.

The division would also benefit from greater integration - and interaction - with the rest of the roster. There are a whole host of examples over recent years of up-and-comers who earned the seal of legitimacy by going the distance with established top-level stars. It's a rub that virtually all the 205 Live cast could currently use.
