10 Things WWE Needs To Improve In 2018

3. Unpredictability

Obviously, anyone who predicted one year ago that Jinder Mahal would hold the WWE Title for six months or that Kurt Angle would be outed as Jason Jordan's old man should be locked up in a secure government facility.

We're not arguing that there weren't one or two jaw-dropping moments in 2017 - simply that too often over the last 12 months we went into pay-per-views knowing that there was very little chance of anything major going down.

On Raw, everyone knew, for all but a few fleeting seconds, that Brock Lesnar would plough through his challengers en route to a WrestleMania 34 date with Roman Reigns, while on SmackDown there were just too many rematches. If Orton didn't get the title back from Jinder at Money in the Bank, there was no reason to suppose he would at Battleground.

There's an easy fix that would go a long way to addressing this: condense feuds down to one pay-per-view and do away with the three-match series for which the Modern Day Maharaja's title reign will unfortunately be remembered. In most cases, it's just not interesting to see the same match more than a couple of times.
