10 Things WWE Needs To Learn From WrestleMania 37

7. Make Weather Precautions

As much as it might pain him to realise, not even the all-powerful Vince McMahon can control the weather.

For a minute there, it looked as if WrestleMania 37 might be a washout, with WWE 'lucky' that Night 1 of 'Mania had a 40-minute delay rather than having to be completely cancelled.

Nobody can control the weather, but that doesn't mean WWE shouldn't have precautions in place should the weather take a turn. After all, if you're doing an outdoor show, in an area that's known for its intense, erratic weather, one really should put together a contingency plan.

Instead, what we got was frenzied panic, as WWE threw unprepared talents in front of a live mic to stall for time, while those fans at Raymond James Stadium were ushered into the venue's concourse for fear of being struck by lightning.

WWE has been ridiculously fortunate over the years with its outdoor WrestleManias. Despite hosting several 'Manias in an open air setting, this was the first time that the weather has impacted proceedings.

Going forward, WWE has to seriously reassess their venue choices for WrestleMania, with a back-up plan imperative for any future editions of the company's Granddaddy of Them All.

Thankfully, WrestleMania 38's venue of Texas' AT&T Stadium has a retractable roof, while WrestleMania 39's home of California's SoFi Stadium has a fixed roof.
