10 Things WWE Needs To Learn From WrestleMania 37

3. Bianca Belair Is Absolutely Ready

When Bianca Belair won the women's Royal Rumble earlier this year, it was a great moment that had plenty of fan support behind it.

Unfortunately, the build to Belair's WrestleMania 37 confrontation with SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks was all over the shop, causing some fans' anticipation to turn to disappointed groans.

In classic WWE fashion, the tantalising prospect of Belair vs. Banks became bogged down by the frustratingly familiar 'unlikely partners' trope that has to be brought out in the lead to every WrestleMania.

The Boss had long cemented her reputation as one of the best in the business, but this slack 'Mania lead-in hugely hurt the EST ahead of her potential breakout moment - with interest in that match dropping from week to week as the Showcase of the Immortals edged closer.

Despite the awful build, Bianca and Sasha delivered gold on Night 1 of WrestleMania 37. The match was fantastic and the emotion in the air was full of heartfelt sincerity, as Bianca Belair arrived and proved that she's absolutely ready to be a pillar of WWE moving forward.

Similarly, Rhea Ripley stepped up in a big way to dethrone Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship; although the Nightmare had already got to experience the WrestleMania stage, having faced Charlotte Flair at last year's 'Mania.
