Most WWE’s Network Specials are three hours long. Or at least that’s what they are advertised as. However, for the second month in a row, SmackDown has finished their show around twenty minutes early, which is a good thing.

It’s no secret that Raw is too long. Three hours of TV is a slog to sit through and just because the show is playing on a Sunday night doesn’t make it any easier. Raw events, whether that be on a Monday night or at Clash of Champions, always feel like they are stacked with filler.

SmackDown doesn't have that problem. Which sure, means that No Mercy finished a bit early. But that’s okay. Most people are tuned into the Network and are not going to be worrying about getting value for money. They’re going to be happy that they don’t have to sit through any more rubbish to get to the good stuff.
