10 Things WWE Raw: Day 1 Told Us About WrestleMania XL Season

4. The Men’s Rumble Is Still Up For Grabs

Neither rumoured foe for Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns actually needs to win the Royal Rumble to justify their respective title shots. What's true for Cody is also true for one CM Punk. He and Rollins have already put down foundations for their battle, and the match has an organic story based on harsh truths behind the scenes anyway.

That might be enough to sell it without the need for a Punk win at the Rumble.

This mysterious vibe surrounding this men's Rumble is helping sell it too. Rhodes was a pretty obvious winner last year, but there's more of an 'anything could f'n happen' atmosphere surrounding the 2024 version. Naturally, The Rock popping back up to throw shade at Roman has added yet another wrinkle.

Cody, Punk, Rocky, a completely out of left field winner like GUNTHER - nothing is out of the question, and that's a good thing. Triple H has done a masterful job of making the men's Rumble result less of a formality than it was last time.
