10 Things WWE Did Right At Survivor Series

3. John Cena Losing Before The End Of The Main Event

John Cena lost? Before the end of the match? Yes, it actually happened. It was a major shocker to see Cena get pinned before the end of it. Since it was Team Cena, most of us just assumed he was going to be one of the survivors on his team. Instead, he was knocked out by Big Show and eliminated 25 minutes into this 43 minute match. It's not like this was the first time Big Show has turned on Cena. It's happened several times in the past with Backlash 2009 and Over The Limit 2012 as two examples of it. There are probably other instances too, but it's hard to remember all the times Big Show turned heel. It feels as though he (along with Kane) has turned more than anybody in WWE history. Apparently he was due for a heel turn. There are probably some people that felt like Show would turn just because of all the other turns he's done. However, WWE did an excellent job of not making it obvious. It really felt like a random thing. Show hasn't done anything to act like a heel. He just did it and we believe his actions because it's something he's done many times before. Cena's elimination was one of the most shocking moments of the night. No doubt about it. The negative aspect about this is we might be getting a Cena vs. Big Show match at TLC even though we've seen them wrestle so many times and it's rarely good. With Brock Lesnar probably not wrestling again until the Royal Rumble, Show is a big enough name to feud with Cena. It's coming whether we like it or not.
