10 Things WWE SmackDown Must Do Ahead Of WrestleMania 33

While AJ Styles, much like Luke Harper, could find himself in with a shot at the WWE Title at WrestleMania, there are also rumours of alternative plans regarding Styles’ role at the show.

It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon "looks likely" for WrestleMania, in what's surely a match that nobody outside of the McMahon family has any great urge to see.

The worry is that a feud between Styles and the Commissioner is all too easy to set in motion, especially after the controversial finish in the Battle Royal last week and the possibility that he may be ejected from the title scene again in the upcoming number one contender’s match.

But booking the best wrestler in the company against a part-time, on-screen authority figures feels like an awful waste for 'Mania.

Instead, SmackDown needs to make it a priority to find an alternative opponent for Styles so as to avoid him getting lost in the shuffle. And if recent social media activity is anything to go by, there seems to be a perfectly willing candidate already in wait down on the NXT roster...
