10 Things WWE SmackDown Must Do Ahead Of WrestleMania 33

6. Build Up The Usos (In The Ring)

In recent weeks, the Usos have done a great job of building themselves up on the mic, but they’ve done little to show that they’re genuine contenders in the one department it actually matters—inside the ring.

They were losers in the Tag Team Turmoil match at Elimination Chamber, and even though they’d later beat down American Alpha, that beat down wasn’t enough to win them the match, making Jimmy and Jey look even weaker in the process.

At this point, it looks all but certain that they’ll be challenging Alpha for the SmackDown tag titles come WrestleMania 33, but ahead of that show they first need to score some dominant wins to gather themselves some momentum. Of course, that’s where the shallowness of the SmackDown roster begins to present a problem.

Beyond Heath Slater and Rhyno, there’s only so much momentum you can build by defeating the Vaudevillains and the Ascension on a weekly basis...

That being said, if they can bring to the ring the kind of fire that they’ve shown in their promos as of late, then they should be fine heading into WrestleMania.
