1. A Face To Face Showdown Between Brock Lesnar And John Cena
The Cena/Lesnar WWE Title match was announced on the July 21 edition of Raw. That show ended with Paul Heyman delivering a promo on behalf of Brock Lesnar (who stood there looking tough) talking about how Lesnar was going to beat Cena at SummerSlam to become the WWE Champion. The next week on the July 28 edition of Raw, Cena delivered a promo to say he'd beat Lesnar, who wasn't there. Then this past Monday neither guy was there so they aired an awesome video package about them. With one more episode of Raw to go before SummerSlam, we need to see one more thing between them: a face to face showdown. We want to see them talk crap about each other some moreor have Heyman do it for Lesnar since he's so great at it. We want to see them go nose to nose as Raw goes off the air and we wonder who is going to win their huge match. While some fans may want to see a pull apart brawl between them, it's better to avoid it. Monday's Raw will be the first time both guys will be in the same ring. They shouldn't brawl. Just keep them apart, build up the anticipation some more and make people wait to see it on August 17 at SummerSlam. Giving it away on television would be a bad move. That's what the PPV stage is for. It's time to have Cena and Lesnar in the same ring together in order to do one final push for one of WWE's biggest matches of the year. Spend three hours promoting it on Monday. Deliver it at the end of the night. End the show in a hot way. It's a big money match. Time to treat it that way.
