10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Batista

5. Triple H Was Given His Role In The "Inside Out" Film

When Batista left WWE in 2010, he did so because he wasn't a huge fan of the product at the time. He criticized the PG direction of the company while he also was likely burnt out from nearly ten years in WWE. He also had a movie role that was promised to him that WWE took away.

Back in April 2010, a report from PWInsider stated the following: "The lead role in 'Killing Karma' was initially supposed to go to Batista, however, WWE made the decision to replace him with Triple H. It€™s being said that when Batista learned that he was being replaced by HHH, he became furious over the news as acting is what he wants to focus his future on when he leaves wrestling."

Triple H was given the movie role and May 23, 2010 Batista wrestled his last match in WWE while choosing not to sign a new contract. There's no telling how angry Batista was at the time or if he would have considered staying had he been given the role he was supposed to have.

The film title was changed from "Killing Karma" to "Inside Out" and was the first of two WWE Films that Triple H starred in. The second one was called The Chaperone. Neither one was considered a success. This film was mentioned in the Triple H DVD that WWE released, but it's not something they're going to bring up on WWE TV when they're telling storylines.

As is the case with a lot of things in wrestling, time heals all wounds. Batista was very angry when he left in 2010, but he got over it. It's not like the film was a tremendous success that cost Batista a lot of money. It was straight to DVD and very forgettable.
