WWE.comWWE.comBooker made his WrestleMania debut at the 18th annual event in 2002 in Toronto. After a strong WWE debut year that saw him feud with the likes of The Rock and Steve Austin, he was a midcard heel that really didn't have anything going for him. Edge was in the same boat, so WWE felt like pairing them up. Instead of simply having the wrestle in a regular match without much of a build, they tried to tell a story. They went with the story that they were feuding over a Japanese shampoo commercial that didn't really exist. Whoever won this feud got to star in the commercial.
