10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Jerry Lawler

7. Showing Him With Unhealthy Sonic Food After His Heart Attack

If there's one thing WWE has no fear of doing during a show it's promoting some product that paid them a lot of money to appear on Raw. One of those products routinely is from the American fast food company Sonic. We've seen it recently where they've been in backstage segments with Sonic food. It's been going on for years although not a weekly thing. One of the more memorable Sonic ads was on February 25, 2013 when the announcers on Raw, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, were eating the food at their table. The reason t his was significant is because Lawler had a heart attack in September of 2012 live on Raw. He doesn't drink or smoke. A main cause was the food that he ate, plus it was also in his family since his dad died of a heart attack. When Lawler was shown downing this unhealthy feud it upset a lot of fans. Maybe we're overreacting with this, but the man had a freakin' HEART ATTACK on live television six months earlier and he's out there eating food that isn't healthy. Thankfully Lawler hasn't had any setbacks with his health in the last two years. He's gone back to wrestling once in a while on weekend indy shows, but it would be shocking if he ever had a match in WWE again.
