10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About "Macho Man" Randy Savage

4. He Hated WWE For "Nacho Man" Skits That Mocked Him

http://youtu.be/KZD0_r4xKs8 Following Randy's departure to WCW, WWE took shots at him by saying he was old. When Randy went to WCW in 1994 he was 42 years old, so it was true that he was past his prime although proved to be pretty durable too. Hulk Hogan was also in his 40s at that point, so WWE did these videos where they mocked "The Huckster and The Nacho Man" for being old guys that were way past their prime in WCW. At the time, WWE was promoting the "New Generation" of Superstars that were going to lead them into the future. On the Savage DVD, his brother Lanny Poffo mentioned that Randy was particularly upset about how WWE mocked the bald spot at the top of Randy's head. He probably felt like it was disrespectful and that he didn't deserve it because of all the years of great performances he had in a WWE ring. He was right to feel that way. In the end, those skits were stupid and unnecessary. It's understandable that Savage would be mad about them while WWE never really mentioned them after they aired.
