10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Miz

1. He Was The Forgotten WWE Champ Thanks To John Cena And The Rock

Any time somebody walks into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion they usually do so as the focal point of the show. They should be the most important person at that event or at least one of the most important people there. At WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta, it felt like Miz was a third wheel due to the rivalry between The Rock and John Cena. It didn't help that The Miz had a below average match with Cena at WrestleMania 27. They booked the match so poorly. There was a double countout spot after they battled outside the ring that left the crowd angry. The Rock ended up getting the match restarted and then he interfered in the finish to help The Miz retain just so they could set up Rock vs. Cena for the next two years. Following his WrestleMania main event, Miz lost the WWE Title at the next PPV titled Extreme Rules. They made it a three way cage match probably because of how disappointing his singles match with Cena was at WrestleMania. While WWE will mention that The Miz is a former WWE Champion, it's unlikely that he'll ever reach that level again. They also don't mention that his reign was uneventful and that he was one of the least interesting WrestleMania main eventers ever. Just ask CM Punk. ---- That's it for this week's things WWE wants us to forget series.
