10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Miz

7. He Was Criticized Heavily By CM Punk

CM Punk is a guy that's known for never being shy. He always says what's on his mind. While he is not the type of guy to get in fights with people or really go off the deep end, he has criticized some of his co-workers in his career. The Miz is somebody that he specifically mentioned. The main reason Punk talked about The Miz was because they were both heels on the rise in 2010-2011. When it came time to push somebody to the top of the card as a main rival of John Cena in 2011, it was Miz that got the call instead of Punk. Here's how Punk expressed his frustrations in a 2011 interview: "In my world, the best bad guy wrestles the best good guy. I was specifically told, €˜Hey, leading up to WrestleMania we don€™t really know what you€™re going to do yet but you€™re going to be John Cena€™s little TV feud.€™ I was like, €˜I€™m nobody€™s TV feud. That€™s bulls**t.€™ They just continued to piss me off." Punk added that The Miz knew exactly how he felt. For his part, The Miz has commented that he was on Punk's DVD praising him a lot and then when he watched the DVD, he heard all those comments from Punk ripping him. It was pretty obvious that Miz was upset about it. Since their comments weren't done in a storyline or to build to a match between them, they were definitely things that WWE wants us to forget.
