5. He Was On Drugs On "The Plane Ride From Hell"
The infamous "Plane Ride From Hell" was a flight involving WWE talent that left from a plane in the UK to return home to America on May 5, 2002. The flight featured a lot of big names in the company although Vince McMahon wasn't there. Jim Ross, who was in charge of talent, was there. There were several incidents on the plane ranging from Curt Hennig and Brock Lesnar wrestling in the aisle, Ric Flair showing his private parts to stewardesses, hair cuts on sleeping wrestlers and of course there were stories of alcohol and drugs. In the case of Hall, reports have noted that he was using the drug GHB along with Hennig and the two men took part in some of the hijinks that worried people on the plane. When Jim Ross wrote about the incident on WWE.com he did so because everybody on the internet knew about. Ross mentioned that Hall was not involved with any of the major incidents because he was asleep for much of it, but using drugs and his past reputation leads us to believe there was likely more to it. Days after the UK tour, Hall was released from the company. That doesn't really sound like a guy that did nothing on the infamous "plane ride from hell" after all.
