5. Her 2003 Marriage To Triple H Wasn't Actually Acknowledged Until 2008

Stephanie's relationship with Triple H has been a hot topic in WWE for the past 15 years. As the boss' daughter, fans have always been curious about her personal life especially because she was romantically involved with a main event performer in WWE. She first started her interaction with Triple H in 1999 when Hunter's heel character drugged her and married her without her consent. Then she turned heel on her own dad to show that she had fallen in love with Hunter. They were paired together on screen and then they started dating in real life (more on that later). She got married to Triple H on October 23, 2003. If you were an online wrestling fan then you knew that. However, if you were only a television viewer then you thought that they were a divorced couple because that's what happened in their 2002 storyline. What was unique about the whole thing was they never acknowledged the fact that they were married until 2008 when it was convenient for their storyline at the time. Hunter ended up feuding with Randy Orton (again) in a main event level feud where Orton attacked all the McMahon family members and even kissed Stephanie when she was unconscious. There were a lot of tongue in cheek comments along the way, but they didn't acknowledge her real marriage to Hunter until it fit the storyline five years after the wedding.
