10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About SummerSlam

4. Eddie Guerrero Freaking Out In 2005 And Swearing At Vickie For Missing Spot

Eddie Guerrero's feud with Rey Mysterio was a high profile battle between two of the best performers in WWE. They were best friends in the story (they were close in real life too) until Eddie turned to the dark side when he realized he couldn't beat Rey. He revealed a secret that Rey's son Dominic was actually Eddie's son, so they had a Ladder Match with a contract on the line. The stipulation was definitely different, but the feud was really strong with fans backing Mysterio while Eddie was doing phenomenal work as a heel. During a later portion in the match when Eddie was climbing up to the top very slowly. When Eddie got to the top he couldn't take down the briefcase. Then Eddie got knocked down by Rey. That's when Eddie started yelling: "Where the f**k was Vickie?" He also pounded the mat repeatedly because he was really angry over what happened or what didn't happen. He was yelling at a referee because Vickie was supposed to come down to tilt the ladder over while he was climbing it. She was late to do that. Moments later, Vickie came down to the ring, Eddie climbed up again and she tilted it over. Mysterio ended up winning the match as well as the rights to remain the parent of his son. The match was a bit disappointing considering the participants, but it was memorable thanks to Eddie's freak out towards the end of it.
