10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Survivor Series

9. Those Awful Looking Brown HBK Pants In 2002

Shawn Michaels played a key part of screwing over Bret Hart at Survivor Series 1997. He won the WWE Title as a heel performer. Five years later he was back at Survivor Series after missing the previous five years. This time he was back as a babyface except this time something was off with him. His tights were brown. It was only his second match back in 2002 as he took part in the first ever Elimination Chamber match in New York City's Madison Square Garden. He was back to get revenge on arch nemesis Triple H and to also win the World Title. Michaels told the story in his book that he wasn€™t sure when he was going to wrestle again, which seems a bit weird because they probably told him a month earlier at least and then he should have had time to get things organized. Apparently not. Due to that, he was unable to have HBK style tights made prior to the match. As a result, he wore these pale brown pants and cowboy boots instead of the regular wrestling boots we were used to seeing from him. It was a bad look although he did win his last World Title at that event. Brown pants and cowboy boots was a look that Shawn Michaels and WWE wants us to forget.
