10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Ultimate Warrior

3. The Self Destruction Of Ultimate Warrior DVD Ripped Him Unmercifully

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqeVNfygHXo The "Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" DVD that WWE released in 2005 was very unique in the sense that they made it as a way to completely rip apart this man that was a top guy in the company. If you want to watch a DVD that criticizes everything Warrior did for about an hour then it's worth a watch. However, if you're a fan of the guy then you should probably avoid watching it. It's also very unlikely that WWE would put the documentary on WWE Network just because of the way it criticizes him. The DVD did take a close look at Warrior's two most famous matches: the first with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 6 and the second with Randy Savage at WrestleMania 7. Everybody knows those matches and they did give them the respect that they deserve. Other than that, the DVD was a mockery of what he did in the wrestling business. During his Hall of Fame speech, Warrior acknowledged the DVD. He mentioned that he didn't like it, nor should he have. It was a sad move on WWE's part to tear down this guy that wasn't on good terms with them. It was petty on their part. They shouldn't have done it. I'm sure that if you asked Vince McMahon right now he likely regrets it and he should. No question about it. At least WWE didn't release other DVDs like this where they mocked somebody repeatedly. Maybe they did learn from it after all.
