10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Undertaker

1. He Can Control Lightning And Fire

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e50iYwAOu1M The superpowers of the Undertaker are legendary in that he can do things that normal people can't do. That's part of the appeal of his character. It also leads to some things that you don't see him doing too much of anymore because the character has evolved a lot. The video above is just one example of Undertaker's powers to cause lightning in an arena. After Kurt Angle retained the World Title at Royal Rumble 2006, The Undertaker came out to make his intentions known that he wanted a title shot. How did he do that? With Angle alone in the ring, Undertaker used lightning to hit the ring posts and collapse it, which put fear into Angle. Announcer Tazz even said "s**t" during the spot because the idea was that we had never seen anything like that before. Over the years, there have been many instances where Undertaker used lightning or fire to intimidate his opponents. We haven't seen it as often in recent years since he's a part-timer that rarely competes other than at WrestleMania, but his supernatural powers were a big part of his appeal as a character.
