10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About 2021

5. Anything Pre-NXT 2.0 Existed

Vince McMahon probs wants you to think the same about NXT 2.0.

This is the brand's future, and it's therefore the only thing that matters. That sh*t hot ROH-with-even-better-cameras product you watched between 2012(ish)-2021? Get over it - that's gone, and it wasn't even that good to begin with. How could it compare to NXT 2.O? That'll be the outlook behind the scenes in WWE (amongst upper management, at least).

Of course, NXT's hardcore fans know the truth. They know that the loss of workhorses like Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black, Keith Lee and more was always going to hurt the show long-term. A product can't sustain those kinds of losses, and the same goes for others who simply moved onto the "main roster" like Rhea Ripley and Riddle.

Here's the thing: 2.0 didn't come into effect until September. So, between January-then, NXT was still its former self. Maybe not as enjoyable, but it still had those original vibes. They're gone now.
