10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Alicia Fox

1. She Reportedly Wrestled Under The Influence

As reported by Fightful and Wrestling Inc, Arn Anderson's recent release from WWE may have been down to a story alleging he let Alicia Fox wrestle when she was intoxicated. If true, this is a particularly depressing way for the legendary AA to go out, but one can't blame WWE for taking action.

The story claims Anderson sent Fox out to the ring despite knowing she was under the influence on a February house show. Not-so-coincidentally, that live event on 10 February in Saginaw, Michigan remains Alicia's last WWE match to date. For anyone interested, she was teaming with Mickie James and Nikki Cross against Bayley, Dana Brooke and Natalya.

The six-woman stipulation means Fox may not have been called upon to work many spots, but that certainly doesn't excuse her behaviour. WWE are a tightly-controlled corporate company with shareholders to appease, so they can't be seen to waive off performers working when inebriated, or staff who allow that to happen.
