10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bayley

2. 'This Is Your Life'

Where does one start with this, the second ill-advised recycling attempt on this list?

Before seeing fit to dig up the work of Team Hell No from six years prior, WWE decided to rekindle the sheer promo wizardry of Mick Foley and The Rock by having Alexa Bliss rehash 1999's 'This Is Your Life'. The results were catastrophic, made Bliss look like she couldn't talk to save her life and ended up damaging Bayley as a babyface too.

Although Bayley didn't physically get involved in this sorry segment until near the end, she was the focal point of its existence. That means it belongs here as a prime example of how misplaced comedy can hurt a babyface's rapport with an audience they're supposed to relate with. Everything about this one blew.

'This Is Your Life II' was touted as one of the worst skits of 2017, and it hardly made anyone eager to see Bayley boot Bliss right in her bitchy little butt. It was empty air time that would've been better-served by a 10-minute highlight reel of Bayley's best NXT moments.
