9. The Voodoo Kin Mafia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiI1qmFlSSQ The Voodoo Kin Mafia. VKM. Vincent Kennedy McMahon...get it? Ugh. In the summer of 2006, Gunn and Road Dogg began doing a series of 'worked shoot' style promos. The ran down TNA management and claimed that their careers had been mismanaged. Their microphones were cut off and the broadcast quickly went to commercial. Rechristened the Voodoo Kin Mafia, they turned their attention towards their former employer and declaring 'war' on the new version of DX. They called out 'Paul Levesque', 'Michael Hickenbottom' and Vince McMahon (they couldn't mention the names Triple H and Shawn Michaels for legal reasons). The whole thin was rather sad. Things would get sadder still, when VKM issued a $1m dollar challenge to the WWE trio to come and meet them for a real fight. That, of course, had no chance of happening and the angle quickly ran out of steam, while WWE's legal team continued sending TNA letters. Why Billy Gunn, Road Dogg or TNA bothered with this nonsense is anyone's guess. It made everyone involved look completely second rate. The WWE brass no doubt had words with Gunn about the whole charade when he returned to the company a few years ago.
