10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Braun Strowman

5. That Tyson Fury Feud

Admittedly, this is more creative's fault than anyone else's.

Whomever weighed up all possibilities for Crown Jewel 2019 and thought, 'Yeah, Tyson Fury vs. Braun Strowman would be a laugh' should've been shouted down. Despite being a big name in the boxing world, and a popular talking head generally, big Tyson was never built for wrestling.

His gangly-but-still-huge frame made it hard for Braun to do anything with him. Worse, the feud gobbled up endless amounts of TV time on Raw heading into the Saudi show; fans had to sit on their hands and watch erm...thrilling displays like Fury breaking a pencil or Strowman promising to end him.

It's almost a miracle that crowds played along and didn't rebel with loud "Boring" chants. That surely would've happened had the resultant eight-minute count out win for Tyson played out in the United States rather than Saudi though.

Horrible, just horrible. Programming Braun with somebody he couldn't throw around the place was a terrible decision.
